Total Istria Experience is yours complete wine tour of Istria:
- a convenient yet full Istrian wine experience, including a lot of education, delicious wines & fun in one of Croatia most beautiful wine regions, north west Istria.
- visit one of the world best extravergin olive oil producers with sample tasting
- truffle hunting family will dazzle your with thier truffle products and a guided truffle hunting experience on their family farm.

We drive to a „truffle land“ a region around the town of Buzet for a visit to a truffle farm.
After a small breakfast we will go for a truffle hunt / with a dog / to return to sample some more truffle dishes
12:30 am
Extra vergin olive oil…. One of the best olive oil producers will be our host. You will be given all the little secrets of tasting and recognising the „real“ extravering olive oil.

DETAILS:
- When: Tours run from March through November, 7 days a week at 9:30am. From May trough September we may add afternoon tours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays that will start at 3.30 pm with the exact same program.
- Meeting Point: At your hotel reception /if not otherwise agreed/.
- Half day: 7.5 hrs approx
- Size: Min attendance for tour to run: 2 people – max 8 pp
- Allergy friendly: vegetarians and gluten free can be catered too
- Difficulty: hard /a full truffle hunting program! Please bring adequate footwear for a stroll in the woods /some trainers/ also, some stairs to see cellars (winery bathrooms wheelchair friendly)
- Wines tasted: Typical Istrian grape varieties (Malvazija Istarska, Teran, Muskat Momjanski, Refosk, Merlot, etc)
Please note that it is possible to purchase the products you taste directly at the producers.
